Immunity Boosters: An Integrative Approach

During the past few weeks my environment seems to be full of panic, fears, and anxiety given what is happening in the world around us. I was supposed to join a live event of over 200 women in Santa Cruz, CA but it got cancelled when Gov. Newsom called on all events with more than 250 people to be canceled or postponed due to coronavirus concerns. I had hoped that the organizers would stand strong and go ahead with the event but the uncertainty overpowered it.

I want to share with you how I stay anchored and centered through the situation happening around us.


I’ve learned to let go of that which is not in my control. My circle of influence suggested I transfer my tickets to the next event in September but I refused. “Why? I want to do it now when I have the time.” The Divine had to jump in to help protect me from my own action.

Boost Your Health & Well-Being

I am looking at my own health from a different perspective. I’ve been slacking from my usual workout routines from 1-3 times a day to 3-5 times per week. I’m cooking less and rely on my significant other to prepare our meals. This has me wondering if I’m consuming proper nutrients that my body requires at this time, not just to stay healthy but to be able to fight against the risk of getting sick. I’m taking these signs to heart and starting to incorporate ingredients like ginger, turmeric, green tea, apple into my daily intake more than I normally do. I have been taking daily supplements such as multivitamins as a part of my health routine for years and am now adding Zinc. Zinc and Vitamin C are two of the biggest preventative supplements around, especially toward COVID-19.

I have been boosting my immune system with daily meditations. Sometimes, I do guided meditations or silent, and sometimes, I use my favorite mantras. It can be a universal mantra like “Om Shanti Shanti Shanti” or just “Om.” If none of these mantras resonate, create your own: one that best fits to you for the day or the weeks.

Life changes all the time so allow flexibility.
