    Hello everyone.
    Many people are experiencing stress, anxiety, and fear due to current events taking place around the world. I am going to start posting again to stay connected with my family, friends and clients The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is causing significant disruptions in our everyday lives. I encourage everyone to remain focused, take appropriate safety precautions, and find time for self-care.

    Every day I try to think of different ways to keep my spirits high and remove fear from the mind. Taking a moment to express gratitude is an essential part of my daily routine. Each morning, I say my mantras to raise my vibration and I journal gratitude that I am alive and well, that I continue to be of service to others and accomplish another goal. Whoever or whatever you believe in, use this opportunity to pause and to connect into a higher power and engage in focused meditation.

    My favorite practices is burning sage. Burning sage is a consistent habit. The medicinal properties associated with sage are bountiful. Smudging has long been used to connect to the spiritual realm or enhance the intuition. There are two types of sage, each with its own distinct qualities and uses. Sage is either used for oral consumption as a supplement, and the other is for “smudging.” Smudging is the practice of burning herbs in ceremony practices that originated from many indigenous communities.

    The benefits of smudging sage can eliminate bacteria in the air, ease anxiety, and help with insomnia. Smoke from the white sage can purify the mind, body, and spirit. Smudging helps with meditation and the person to clear their mind of distractions. Besides cleansing the room of negative energy, the sage smoke can clear the air of bacteria. Scientists have observed that sage can clear up to 94 percent of airborne bacteria and disinfect the air due to its antimicrobial properties.
